Kraft Mesh Padded Mailing Bags
Made from mixed recycled and virgin paper the kraft paper padded mailing bags are our most sustainable mailer yet.
Fully compostable, the kraft paper waffle padding provides extra strength for cushioning and protecting your products.
The honeycomb structure of the padding not only cushions but also gives a protective spring back, ensuring maximum protection whilst eliminating the need for plastic packaging.
The outer paper is 110gsm kraft recycled paper, offering superior strength to regular paper mailers.
The honeycomb padding is composed of 80gsm virgin kraft paper meaning that the bag is not only fully recyclable but also fully compostable.
Kraft paper is distinguished by its superior strength compared to other paper alternatives.
Using reduced lignin and a high sulphur ratio, the chemical processes behind creating kraft paper is also more sustainable, the pulp does not require extensive bleaching which is not only environmentally damaging but also decreases the integrity of the paper itself.
Additionally, the padded envelopes use a hotmelt adhesive for sealing.
Hotmelt glue is a thermoplastic that is composed of a combination of polymers, waxes and resins which cure faster and release less volatile organic compounds (VOCs) than liquid, solvent based adhesives.

For enhanced product protection and an improved appearance, you can also use an intermediate layer of white tissue paper.

Paperwave BIO films are highly developed special films, combining the advantages of paper filling and air cushion film.
By adding air to the paper filling this reduces material usage by 85 - 90%
They are designed to produce air-filled cushions with the help of the small and flexable PW1, PW2, PWN3 and PWN4 air cushion systems.
The air cushions produced are mechanically resilient, durable and reusable.
The film structure consists of a recycled paper and a starch blend - sealing layer laminated onto the paper.
The ultra-thin sealing layer is made of a strong base of recycled biodegradable and compostable bio film, connected to the recycled paper layer with natural glue.
